Thank you for your interest in speaking at the Elementary Music Summit®: January Refresh. I’m so excited to team up with you to pull off an incredible event!

The Elementary Music Summit®: January Refresh is a two-day event that will help elementary music teachers from around the world up-level their teaching, increase student engagement, and find balance in their lives.

How The Event Will Work

The Elementary Music Summit®: January Refresh will run from January 17th through January 18th. Presentations will include 30 minutes of content (with up to a 3-minute freebie pitch). Based on attendee feedback, we will be requiring speakers to either submit their slides or a worksheet/handout for attendees to download.

While the presentations themselves are pre-recorded, we will be broadcasting the sessions live to emulate the live experience. If you’re able to attend your scheduled session and interact with the audience in the chat, it is highly encouraged.

Along with the presentations, there will be a private community for attendees to have fun in, hold each other accountable, and ask questions. If attendees have good questions while your presentation is going on, you’re welcome to post in the group to answer those questions, connect with the attendees, and provide even more value.

Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! I'll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.

During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a week after the summit is complete, we’ll also be promoting the All-Access Pass. This includes a year’s access to the session recordings and plenty of speaker-submitted bonus resources (more on that later). This will provide immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions and grow your email list. Yay!

What We’ll Ask Of You

1. BASIC INFORMATION (Speakers Only)

The first thing I’ll need is some basic information from you so I can finish up our registration page and speakers page. Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information easily.

2. PRESENTATION (Speakers Only)

Next up is your presentation! This is a 30 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, while having fun in the process.

Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they've really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they're missing something that they need to buy from you asap.

Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:

  • A quick introduction

  • An overview of your topic

  • Where people go wrong with your topic and tend to overcomplicate it

  • Teaching section

  • Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process)

  • Up to a 3-minute freebie pitch

  • Include questions for attendees to answer in the chat box throughout to boost engagement

Presentations are due by 12/31/2025 but can be submitted at any time. (Early submissions greatly appreciated)

3. ALL-ACCESS PASS CONTRIBUTION (Speakers & Affiliates)

The All-Access Pass will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running. To make it even more valuable and to give you an additional way to grow your email list, I’ll ask each of you to provide one resource to add. This includes complimentary access to things like:

  • Templates

  • Lesson Plans

  • Workbooks

  • Mini-Courses

  • eBooks

Note: I expect this to convert well so I do not recommend contributing any 1:1 offers.

It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate.

We cannot accept freebies or percentage-off offers.

Information for these resources is due on 12/12/25. You'll receive a questionnaire to fill out closer to that time to make passing the information to me nice and simple.

Attendees will be able to start claiming your bonus on 1/1/2026.

4. PROMOTION (Speakers & Affiliates)

The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.

Because of that, everyone is encouraged to share on social media and to email their lists during the promotion period, starting on 1/5/2026.

You’ll want to share using your affiliate link so you can get in on the 40% (30% for non-speaking affiliates) commission that will come from any All-Access Pass sales. (All you have to do is promote the free event, we handle the rest!)

Speaker/Affiliate Benefits

While speaking at the summit offers fantastic overall visibility and a chance to make new connections, the benefits don't stop there! Many of our past speakers have seen a significant increase in their social media following and substantial email list growth by having their content featured and by capturing leads through the All-Access Pass (AAP).

A little extra income never hurts either, right?

That's exactly why we've set up an affiliate program for the All-Access Pass. You'll receive a commission from all sales generated from traffic you refer to the event.

The commission structure for speakers is 40% and 30% for non-speaking affiliates. Payouts will be made no later than 30 days after the event concludes.

To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income and audience growth, the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you're more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads.

As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you're an affiliate when sharing with your audience.

In addition to any affiliate income you earn, we also provide a $100 base speaker honorarium to speakers.

To make promoting the event as easy as possible, we’ll be providing sample emails, social media copy, and graphic templates. We’ll be adding more promotional materials for you to use as we get closer to the event.
