What You're Sharing
The Elementary Music Summit®: January Refresh is two free days of virtual sessions made specifically for the elementary music room. Every session is led by an elementary music teacher, and each one gives attendees something they can use in their classroom the following week.
Free to Attend
Teachers register for free and watch 30-minute sessions broadcast on the Main Stage, with live chat, on January 16th and 17th.
Optional Graduate Credit
Attendees can earn optional graduate credit through VanderCook College of Music.
The All-Access Pass
Attendees can upgrade for a year of replays plus bonus resources from our speakers. This is the upgrade you earn a commission on.
Promotion Made for You
You'll get email swipe copy, social media copy and graphics. Copy, paste and share.
Who You'll Be Reaching
Elementary music teachers across multiple countries and time zones, most of them the only music teacher in their building. In January, they're coming back from winter break still tired from concert season and looking for ideas they can use in their classrooms the very next week.
What to Tell Them
- It's free, and it's all online.
- Every session is made for the elementary music room, so there's nothing to adapt from another subject.
- Most sessions are 30 minutes and built to use next week.
- They can watch what they want and skip what they don't.
Earn More With an All-Access Pass Contribution
Contributing one resource to the All-Access Pass is optional. If your contribution is accepted, your commission goes from 25% to 35%, and you get a free All-Access Pass plus access to our Elementary Music EDGE® bonus day on Monday, January 18th.
Contributions are due Tuesday, December 1st and must be accepted by Tuesday, December 22nd. Earlier is always welcome.
What Counts
A complete resource you normally sell, like templates, lesson plans, workbooks, mini-courses or eBooks. A 100%-off code also works.
Partial discounts, samples, previews and trials can't be accepted.
What We'll Ask of You
Here's everything you'll do as an affiliate, in order. Our reminder emails will walk you through each one.

No later than Tuesday, December 1st
Sign Your Affiliate Agreement
Return your signed agreement, your W-9 (or W-8BEN), and the email address for your PayPal account, all through the same signing request. Once we have all three, we'll send you your affiliate link. If we don't have them by December 1st, we can't issue you a link.

Optional: due Tuesday, December 1st
Submit Your All-Access Pass Contribution
Send your resource with its title, a short description, its value, a square cover image and any download instructions. It must be accepted by Tuesday, December 22nd.

Promote the Summit
Share it however works for you: email, social media, your website or conversations with colleagues. Use your affiliate link every time.

The Summit
Your audience watches sessions on the Main Stage. Upgrades from attendees who registered through your link count through Friday, January 22nd at 11:59pm ET.

Join the Bonus Day
If your All-Access Pass contribution was accepted, you get complimentary access to our Elementary Music EDGE® bonus day, normally open only to EDGE® members.

Get Paid
We send your commission through PayPal.
Your commission
- 25% of what each attendee pays for the All-Access Pass, when they register through your affiliate link and then upgrade.
- 35% instead, once your All-Access Pass contribution is accepted.
- Upgrades count when they're purchased by Friday, January 22nd at 11:59pm ET.
- Commission is on the All-Access Pass only. There's no commission on Elementary Music EDGE® or order bumps.
- There's no commission on purchases that are refunded or charged back.
- Our registration and sales records determine which attendees registered through your link. An attendee who registered before using your link isn't credited to you.
Your All-Access Pass contribution
- One complete resource you normally sell. Pass holders must get exactly what your description promises, free of charge.
- We can host it: send a PDF or a direct link to a single file or web page. No .zip files.
- Or you can host it, including through an opt-in for your email list, as long as one link takes pass holders straight to it with no purchase required.
- Test every link before you submit, and keep every link, file and download working through January 17, 2028.
- We'll review it within 10 business days. If anything needs fixing, you'll have 5 business days from our notice to fix it.
- We may decline a contribution that doesn't fit our audience of elementary music teachers or duplicates another contribution.
- Your contribution is final once it's accepted. Changes after that need our written approval.
- If a link stops working after acceptance, you'll have 5 business days to fix it, or we may remove your contribution.
Promotion rules
- Please don't share any promotion, your affiliate link or our branding before Tuesday, January 5th.
- Share your affiliate link exactly as we provide it, and disclose that you may earn a commission every time you share it.
- Use the dates, pricing and details we provide. If we let you know something you've shared is out of date, please correct or remove it within 2 business days.
- No paid ads that use our brand names, including search ads. Organic posts and emails to your own list are always fine.
- Use our graphics and copy as provided, only to promote the summit, and only through January 22nd. Elementary Music Summit® and Elementary Music EDGE® always appear with the ® symbol.
- Every email you send about the summit must let subscribers opt out at any time.
- Have a written release for any student or other identifiable person who appears in your contribution or your promotion.
Getting paid
- Commissions go out through PayPal no later than Thursday, March 18th.
- We send payments using PayPal's "Goods and Services" option, so the amount you receive is your commission minus PayPal's fee.
- If your tax form or PayPal email changes or needs correcting, send us the updated one. If we don't have both in usable form by March 18th, you'll be paid within 30 days after we receive them.
If anything on this page differs from your signed affiliate agreement, the agreement is what counts.
What You Get as an Affiliate
Sharing the summit gives your audience two free days of sessions built for the elementary music room. Here's what you receive for sharing it:
- 25% commission
On every All-Access Pass upgrade from attendees who register through your affiliate link.
- 35% commission
Instead of 25%, once your All-Access Pass contribution is accepted.
- Free All-Access Pass
Once your All-Access Pass contribution is accepted.
- Bonus Day Access
Our Elementary Music EDGE® bonus day on Monday, January 18th, once your All-Access Pass contribution is accepted.
Without an accepted contribution, you have the same free access to the summit as any other registrant.
